Turn the wind into sound

At Shinohara Maruyoshi Fuurin, we are making Edo Fuurin by inheriting the techniques handed down from the Edo period as a family.

The wind chimes made by craftsmen one by one will heal the viewer with the cool and relaxing light sound and gentle pattern unique to glass. Why don't you listen to the sound of wind chimes while relaxing in the hot summer?

Edo Fuurin are registered as trademarks, and currently only two Edo wind chimes are manufactured in Japan..

About Edo Fuurin

Instead of using molds one by one, shape them in the air. Therefore, the sound is also different.

A comfortable sound is produced just by threading the glass tube on the sound of the wind chime.

By drawing the picture from the inside, you can create a transparent object that makes the most of the luster of the glass.

Our Work

At Shinohara Maruyoshi Fuurin, we carry out all the processes from the production of the ball, which is the main body of the wind chime, to the painting. We are also focusing on selling wind chimes and hands-on learning. Please see here for product purchases, hands-on learning, and online shops.

Shinohara Maruyoshi Fuurin, we mainly produce wind chimes called `komaru`, bell-shaped and wind kotos with slightly different shapes, and earrings and poppen by applying the technology.
